Losing Cellulite Begins With A Clean Slate

Toxins and waste build up in the body are blamed for much of the cellulite troubles we women face. This condition can make losing cellulite quite a challenge. When you think about it, it’s really quite disturbing that this happens in the first place. I don’t know about you, but I really don’t like to think about nasty toxins just hanging out and forming not-so-cute cellulite dimples on my thighs.

What Causes Our Bodies To Become Toxic Dumping Areas?

Environmental factors such as pollution certainly do their share of harm. By breathing in air that’s not as clean as it once was or even taking in second-hand smoke, a lot of damage is being done. Usually, we don’t even realize it until it’s too late.

Boxes, cans, frozen dinners and fast food all contain processing. The more processed a food is, the worse it is for your health – and your cellulite condition.

One of the worst culprits is white flour, mainly because it seems to be in everything we eat. I don’t know about you, but I think whole grain breads taste far better than their processed white flour counterparts. However, for years and years white bread has been the standard. That’s what we had in my house when I was a kid. When you grow up eating something you just assume it’s good for you – I’m sure that’s what my parents thought back then.

You also should consider that a number of beauty and personal care products contain chemicals or toxins. And, don’t forget about the household cleaning supplies you use on a daily basis. Everywhere you turn it’s likely you’ll find harmful toxins of one sort or another.

Detoxify Your Body

When you’re trying to eliminate cellulite, lose fat or just improve your overall health, detoxification is something that’s often a consideration. Many people go through a process to detoxify their bodies when they begin a self-improvement program such as cellulite reduction. Without removing harmful toxins first, it’s difficult to experience the positive results most people are looking for.

To remove toxins from the body, the first suggestion you’ll usually hear is to drink more water. And, this is excellent advice. By drinking plenty of water you’ll stay hydrated which helps keep important bodily functions operating properly. In addition, the water helps to flush toxins and waste out of your system. Most of them are very good, but you should always double-check with your doctor before making any changes to your diet – which will happen at least temporarily if you choose to undergo a cleanse or detoxification program.
